Feeling low
« on: April 07, 2013, 01:50:37 PM »
It was one year ago today that I brought my beautiful Rosie home. She was an absolute joy, and as my DS said, "we lucked out with Rosie as she is the best puppy in the world". We only had six months with her before her tragic accident, but she brought us so much love and happiness. Have been trying to keep myself occupied, but cant get her out of my head and heart :'(
Rosie, rest in peace my beautiful little girl, you will be in my heart forever. 2/2/12-24/10/12

I'm so sorry :(

No harm in remembering Rosie and how special she was. Why don't you light a candle for her tonight, as she was a special light in your life x

(Give Honey a cuddle too).
Julie, Ruby and Jem. And never forgetting our first precious dog, Cassie x

Thinking about you and your sad loss. Rosie was loved and cared for all her short life and she knew it. That must bring you a little comfort. Sending you a big cyber hug. :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:  Diana

Not surprised, Rosie was a special girl, and you will miss her.  Hopefully, in time, you will be able to remember her with less pain in your heart.  :bigarmhug:

Sat here with tears in my eyes reading your post.
She sounds like a very special girl who gave you six months of wonderful memories to treasure forever. It's ok to be sad and shed tears for her just as some days you'll smile about something funny you remember, that's parts of grieving and also part of remembering her and your life together.

If you believe people and animals have a place to go after their life here, then you know she's waiting for you and one day you'll be together again.

Bigs hugs to you today and always, you may have lost your beautiful girl but nothing will take her out of your heart  :bigarmhug:

It's so sad that her life was short, but as others have said, it was filled with happiness. Nothing wrong with feeling down today, just try and smile about the happy times too. Thinking of you x

One reason a dog can be such a comfort when you're feeling blue is that he doesn't try to find out why.  ~Author Unknown

Reading with a huge lump in my throat, you brought Rosie home just a couple of weeks before we brought Riley home.
Used to read with fondness as they were the same age.
You gave Rosie a brilliant life as short as it was,
Some things are just not meant to be.  Big hugs to you and give gorgeous honey a hug too. xxx

Sending lots of  :bigarmhug: and this little poem for you.

I'm Still Here

Friend, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you don't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
and within your heart I long to stay.

My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
as long as you keep me alive in your heart.

I'll never wander out of your sight-
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach-
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.

I'm the colorful leaves when fall comes around
and the pure white snow that blankets the ground.
I'm the beautiful flowers of which you're so fond,
The clear cool water in a quiet pond.

I'm the first bright blossom you'll see in the spring,
The first warm raindrop that April will bring.
I'm the first ray of light when the sun starts to shine,
and you'll see that the face in the moon is mine.

When you startthinking there's no one to love you,
you can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees,
and you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.

I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
and the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look for me, friend, I'm everyplace!

She was loved and cherished in her very short life.......and that is what you must think of now.

Anniversaries are always so hard.  But we only hurt because we miss them so much.

Sending you all cyber hugs and lots of love and paw hugs.

Maureen, Roger, Luis, Olle and Gracie Mae. Xxxxx

Be happy at the bridge little Rosie. Xxxxx
