So, during my investigations i have found out some more information! 

I've got proof that he is over breeding his dogs - 2 litters in under a year from same mum.

First thing tomorrow, i am calling licensing at the council to update them on the situation. If he hasnt got a license he needs one, and if he does have one he is massivley in breach of it.

Report to KC too. One of the KC accredited breeders did this and bred twice from the same bitch in one year, falsifying papers and putting the wrong bitch on them.

It's disgusting that you can't even trust that KC Accredited Breeders are 'good'     I've come to realise that qualification is not worth the paper it's written on!  It seems the only way to find a reputable breeder these days is by word of mouth.  Thank goodness for COL!!!

Sadly if he's not licensed or an Assured Breeder the KC will allow him to breed two litters from the same bitch in a 12 month period, which is totally wrong, but they do allow it.

This has really shocked me.

 I think a lot of people buying their first dog trust that if the dog is kc registered it's a like a seal of approval. Which sadly isn't necessarily the case.

These unscrupulous breeders rely on the fact we all fall so madly in love with our dogs that we won't follow through in cases like this.

After threatening legal action and turning up the heat, papers turned up today.

The name of the breeder is totally different to the name of the guy I brought the dog off.

At least I've got the papers!!!

Finally - the local council are keep a very close eye on this guy any as soon as they have proof he is breeding too many, they will take him to court.

Slow process but getting there.

The papers are definitely Toby's. Other people who brought pups from the same little have also received papers today. Breeder rekons the name on the papers is his business partner. Personally, I think the KC have put him on a black list, or he registers some pups in his name some in the other guys. This way he gets around needing a license.

A truly vile man. Who sees that he has done nothing wrong. He knows the game to well! He doesn't advertise KC registered pups any more - just 'pedigree'

He gave Toby a vile name - 'man on the house', still it could have been worse lol
