Current temperatures:
Downstairs: 27
Upstairs: 29
Outside in the shade: 35
A pleasant stone-walled 22 sounds nice.
OOf no hiding place from that LG. English houses have never been constructed to withstand extreme temperatures.
Last night it went very sultry ahead of a big electrical storm here.
We were unable to get the temperature of the upstairs bedroom to drop below 34C. Barnaby stuck stoically by my side but in the end I became concerned that he was overheating and put him downstairs in the cool.
Once the temperature dropped and the storm broke he came back upstairs with me, where he slept through the thunder lightening and hail on the roof without a whimper. This was an intentional trial by fire as our old girl was petrified of storms, a condition we feel she learned from our daughter who used to be equally terrified.
