grooming tools
« on: June 29, 2017, 08:47:21 PM »
hi I have decided to give grooming my working cocker a go.  she is pretty fluffy.  I have a coat king which I use but am going to try trimming her myself.  can anyone suggest what scissors I will need also some quiet cordless clippers for her head and front of legs.  any tips using scissors would be great.  also what clipper blades would I need and for what area of the body.  basically any advice would be appreciated im slightly worried how it will turn out.  thanks

On our WCS pup I just use a steel comb to break up the big tangles and extract burrs and debris.  and finish him off with either a rubber glove type brush, or occasionally using a steel comb which has a blade at the base of the tines.

This keeps him respectable and clean,  albeit not to show standard.
