You just never know. I've had people say to me oh my dog is very friendly then I let him go over to the dog then it goes for him. He has been really hurt a couple of times from other dogs and owners who can't control them. He doesn't need to play with other dogs that's what I do. There are a couple of dogs in my area who I will let him play with that's because they have met and there was no problems but generally I like to be safe than sorry.
