Dorrit was my constant companion and the most loving, kind animal I have ever had the joy to know. She sadly passed away on the 29 December 2005 after a brave battle with cancer.
We were truly blessed when we got her on the 16 June 1992 at the tender age of 9 months. An unwanted gift, but a precious gift to me.
She was the prettiest deep red cocker I had ever seen! I know we all say that about our babies, but she truly was the exact cocker I had prayed for. So perfect. Well proportioned and ticking all the right boxes. I had wanted a red cocker and Dorrit was the first dog I saw.
I was lucky to have her for as long as I did. I have thought of her every day and still find it very difficult not to start crying when i look at her picture. I carry one with me at all times. She is so desperately missed.
