Susie from Stockholm
« on: April 16, 2007, 09:26:02 AM »
My name is Susie and I am temporarily living in Stockholm .I hope to relocate-partly to have a large garden for my dogs ! I live in a large flat luckily I have the advantage of an enormous park seconds away so my dogs can enjoy it’s wonderful terrain (flat and hilly )and water ! Since my children are grown up most of my life revolves around them .
English Cockers are my favourite breed –I love their look and personality .  I have three bitches :one liver ,called Kiss ,one blue roan and tan , called Bling -both aged 21months from different litters and one red, called Ruby just over one year old They are entirely different in their appearance and character:
Kiss is really beautiful dog ,who likes to have a toy in her mouth for most of the day and will show it to you ,but you can’t take it .She loves toys and is possessive over them .She is the original rumba bottomed dog .
Bling likes her food, a very comfortable bed (your clothes and bed are her preference )and birdlife especially ducks , even swans (something I find worrying ). She was attacked by a Canada goose in the park ,but it hasn’t deterred her a bit.
Ruby is tiny despite her father being a large dog. She weighed about 160 grams when born . The first time I saw her she was beating up her brothers and sisters ,who were double her size .Her breeder has never known a  dog, which could climb out of its pen but she did. She climbed right out of the bath the first time she had a shampoo . She is a boundless bundle of pure energy and talks as well . She has bossed the other two around ever since her arrival .
All three like swimming even when the water is freezing !

Welcome to COL Susie - I went to Sweden many many years ago and absolutely loved it. My late mum had a really dear friend who married a Swede and we went to stay with them for 3 weeks.  The swedes were all really friendly!
Your dogs sound fantastic - pictures are essential, and you should be warned this site is very very addictive! :005:
Penny,   Dexter (cavalier x poodle), Alfie (Whippet cross)  and  Maximus the cocker spaniel!!

RIP my 2 most gorgeous cocker girls - Buffy and Harriet - both waiting for me at the bridge. Joined by my beloved Josie taken too soon and Suki aged 13 :(
