I haven't been online properly for a few days, as I've been at school invigulating exams. Anyway I can totally see why the thread was locked. It's all well and good "discussing" and "disagreeing" but honestly I have to say I am pretty shocked the way that thread went. I'm not sure under the circumstances arguing was very appropriate. We are all going to have different views about it ofcourse we are, but it would be nice to remember there is a child missing :'( :'( :'( I know this is a discussion forum, and some things will become heated, but honestly..................I realise people feel passionatley about things, but what good is arging whether the parents where right or wrong, Maddie is missing and surely all people wont is for her to be back not to debate the whys and wherefores and what if's.

The thread was becoming an unseemly combination of arguing and wild speculation - given that it was about a missing child I thought it better to lock the thread rather than risk it degenerating any further.
