Rawhide chew sticks andchicken bones??

i give Brewster these rawhide chew stick thingys (the plain wight ones as i'm not a colourings fan) and he's going through one a day, is it me been daft as i thought he'd just chew it not actually eat it all!!??

and i've always thought dogs shouldn't hace chicken bones, but keep seeing chicken wings mentioned on here

Billy chews his rawhide for so long and then gets bored  :lol:  Nothing wrong with Brewster eating them though,  although I wouldn't leave him with one unsupervised.

Chicken wings are fine when fed raw. It's cooked chicken bones which are a big NO as they easily splinter and can cause internal injury  >:(

As Jan said never leave him unattended with a rawhide bone they can choke. I would personally never feed chicken bones to my dogs but alot do  ;)

You could try pizzles or other natural chews, my lot love them and they tend to last a bit longer. Zooplus has a really good selection of natural chew products:

Our dogs have the thin rawhide chews at the weekend; I go downstairs, feed them, make us a cup of tea & give the dogs a chew each.

They have chicken wings as their supper about 3 times a week. ;)
