Thank you, what is your Cockers name? S/he looks very chilled ha ha ha :D
OK going to throw a wee question out there. Duds is a casterated male, would it be better to get a female or male companion (if i win the persuasion battle lol!)?

I have two lovely cockers :D....Scoobie is in my avatar and Mollie in my sig.

I have a male and a female and this has worked out fantastically! They love each other!
So i would recommend a girl, but there are alot of people who have two boys without any problems :D

I am sure that either sex will be fine, but you may want to consider waiting until Dudley is a bit older, as he isn't quite matured yet, and is more likely to regress and play up if a new pup arrives while he is still growing up himself  ;)

That is no reason why you can't do your homework, though - take a look at the advice in the looking for a puppy section, and the guidance on the cockersonline homepage on how to find a reputable breeder, get in touch with your local Cocker spaniel Breed club and when the time is right, you will know where to look  ;)

Hi Hannah and Dudley!!!

Mine are the 2 below!! Molly is 3 and Honey is 10 months!!

Introducing another dog when Dudley is 2 should be perfect - Molly was 2 1/2 when we got Honey and she has coped very well!

Sorry to hear about your boyfriend by the way.

Lucy xx

Molly coped with Honey in the sense of no jelousy or aggression, although she still, after 8 months, is not best of friends with Honey!
When Hon was a pupster she was a very confidant, playful puppy which caused problems as Molly is a grumpy young lady  :005: and we did have to give Molly her own space and cage Honey when she became too playful eg hanging off Molly's ears or swinging by her tail!!!
They only sleep together if Molly falls asleep first and Honey snuggles up to her, otherwise Molly will just get up and move away to find somewhere to rest on her own! Always have eaten together though - no problems there!!
