Domino is 16ins to the withers (bottom of his neck in front of his shoulders.)

I haven't weighed him for a while but last October he was just under 15kgs.

After much fidgeting & Max trying to eat the tape measure & therefore having to put a stick across his shoulders & measure up to the door frame we could still only get 15" here

Hoping Clairep4 posts as I'm intrigued with Bella & Zorros height difference  :luv:

Heehee....love that image I have in my head now!!  A little like poltice bags horses wear but with pictures of shrubbery and bedding plants on them!!!  Go Rodaidh, Alfie and Tilly!!

I wonder who will have the most vertically-blessed cocker and who will have the dinkiest little doglet??  Having said that, they're all the best regardless..I love them all!!  :luv:

Callie has grown a whole inch since we last measured, she's now 15" but weighs 8.4kg still so way below the breed standard which is odd as I would say she's about right weight wise(I can just feel her ribs). Perhaps she's still got the muscle growth to come at only 7 months and 2 weeks.

:005:  I'd say Tilly may well be one of the tallest girls, I think WendyG's two are taller than her but they're boys. She's over 18kg as well so she's probably one of the biggest overall, as I said to Helen last night, she's the embodiment of that saying 'I'm not fat I'm big boned'  :005: :luv:

Just checked the breed standard as posted before!! - Size
Height approximately: dogs: 39-41 cms (15.5-16 ins); bitches: 38-39 cms (15-15.5 ins). Weight approximately: 13-14.5 kgs (28-32 lbs).

Looks like Roxy is stunted!!!

She is about 13 inches (dodgy as used ikea paper tape which she tried to eat and argued with OH as to where the shoulder actually finished  :005:)

She only weighs 10kg - maybe a teeny bit more now...

Pixie Cocker!!!

- Just re read the thread, do you go to the top of the back then?? we did to the bumpy shoulder bone bit!!!  Might be able to add another half inch or so!!
Someone post a pic of correct measuring technique please!!!

  • To understand a cocker, you need to be a cocker!

Yes, you are correct Nicola

Both worker boys,  Bailey is 19½ inches and Spud (the largest Cocker I have ever seen) is 21"

(Got OH to measure them so if this measurement is slightly different from last time blame him!)

Tess is only 12.5 inches
Cassie is 13.5 inches
Honey is the largest at 15 inches
I tried to measure floss with no success at all she just kept rolling over on her back with all fours in the air :005: but she is only 7 months so i dont think she has finnished growing yet.She is already taller than Tess.
