Does your OH love your cocker as much as you love your cocker?

Mine doesn't.

He loves them. ( But won't tell them!)
Walks them
Feeds them
and has done training classes
BUT he can have enough of  them! He has even gone as far as saying that these are the only dogs we will ever have!

Saying all that, whenever Poppy is going through a tricky patch, he is always the one that puts it into perspective, I am always too emotional, whereas he just says that's Pops, accept it!

So, is it equal with you?

He says he does but I dont think anyone can love them as much as me, Wilson is my boy and we got Mylee for him but everyone knows they are my dogs!!!

Dont have an OH as such  :005: But my dogs come before anyone, so unless any man I was to be involved with didnt love them then they would not be around  :005:

Yeah, Dave is a sucker for Griffin. When I get home from work (about 10 mins after Dave) they are always crashed on the sofa together. He drives home from work at lunch to see him too.  I love seeing them together. My little family  :luv:

My OH is the same, however, I bet you will catch him at some time, whispering sweet nothings into "your dog's" ear when he thinks he is alone.........

Ayer my OH adores our two. He would like to make out that he is all hard and manly and a dogs just a dog but you should see him with them. He cuddles them before he cuddles me, he leaves lights on for them even though I refuse to as they can see perfectly well and its his fault we have them in our bedroom as he snuck them in while I was away.

What he doesn't do is obsess about everyone else's cockers like I do  ph34r

Mine says he doesn't, but if anything happened to them he would be devastated.

The problem here is that my cockers don't love my OH as much as they love me, and I think if Matt had a dog that adored him as much as my 2 adore me then he would love it a lot more.

Our last dog, a border collie used to go around with Matt in his van, he used to take him out to work sometimes and he became attached to Matt and was a very protective dog and Matt liked that.

my OH reckons he hates sam BUT when we thought we were going to have to give him away he was devasted :luv:
when he gets home from work he always makes a fuss of sam first, i'll often be in the middle of a sentence and he wouldn't have heard a work if he was playing with sam ::)

i've never had a dog before and OH assumed that the dog would be going to work with him everyday, things haven't worked out like that and i think Oh gets a bit miffed cos sam prefers me :005:

OH would be the first to say he is not a 'doggy person', having said that he is dotty about them both; especially Saffy, who in turn is a real daddies girl  ::) they have wonderful cuddles, and yesterday I spotted them on the bed together indulging in tummy rubs  >:D, Shelley is more of a mummies girl though and at times is permanently glued to my leg............ :luv:  we probably have the best of both worlds!

Although I think he likes Hurley, he doesnt love him the way I do, I think he prefered LBH (life before Hurley).  ::)

I don't think anyone could love them as much as I do  :luv:.

My OH does love them, even though he pretends not to.  Daisy is my girl through and through so I think he has a sneaking preference for Cooper.

OH is a bit of a star though - I was emergency dog sitting the other day for someone I walk with sometimes, so he got back from a busy day at work to find a houseful of dogs and took it in his stride. He's even agreed we can foster dogs.

My OH loves Fern more than he loves ME!!  He's besotted and is often asking family members including me "do you love my dog?"  :luv:
