I'am also a new member to cockers online,  It's a great forum and very helpful.  I have a 7 month old blue roan dog called Louis.  He is my first cocker but I don't think he will be my last.  Anybody any advice on when is the best time to introduce another cocker into the house in terms of Louis age?

In answer to your question on when is best to introduce another Cocker Puppy to your household most of us feel that 18 months is a good age as Louis will be well trained and will set a good example to his litte brother or sister  :wink:

That's right, I am hopefully going to come over in Sept for the show.  I have been in touch with Natasha, she is really lovely and so helpful, she has given me some contact numbers for hotels etc so I'am going to sort it out as soon as poss.  Will you be there with your three lovely cockers?

Thanks for your advice about the age thing, and getting a new pup.  I think that 18 months is the general consensus.  I can't wait to go to Gurnsey and meet all you cocker mad people!

As Derryn says, 18 months or so is a good age and Im sure with Louis nature you wont have a problem.,     You are being sensible in the fact that you are looking into the situation early on...which is a good thing ...

Not such a little birdie D     Yes I've persuaded Gemma and Carl to come and see us in Guernsey in Sept., so we should have loads of fun., although I dont know if Gemma has told Carl he's gonna be surrounded by women  :shock:

What lovely names Flo and mellow, makes me feel relaxed just saying them.  Have you got a name for your 3rd?  I would love another one, either an orange roan or a black&white one.  I think i will wait until Louis a bit older.
