Can i ask what a chook is? Is it CHUCK as in chicken?  :embarassed:

As for the pesky foxes, my partners parents' chickens vanished constantly, even learning how to drag them from their cages through the floor!  :o :o Hes given up keeping them now - ashame as they were the best eggs EVER!  >:(

I've tried Mali with chicken wings this week, my butcher kindly gave me a big bag of them for nothing because he didn't have a marrow bone for her at the weekend  :005:

Anyhow, she's had a couple but I'm not certain that she isn't simply butying them in the garden. She runs off with them and comes back a bit too quickly IYSWIM?

Just caught this :005: sorry Sheryl the thread made me laugh. She's just remembered she used to eat them (knuckles and all) and enjoyed them, just wait til L'il Miss Piggy and Kali start to race each other to the finish 'case they'll get another in a few weeks time. :005: :005:

So pleased you have survived the chicken wing episode - I think normally they only regurgitate if they need to swallow again in a slightly different way... the speed is amazing though and Kali will be even happier than normal with these on offer...

Nignet - yours make the bowl, well impressed....

Yeeesss your girls are missing out... most use as part of Barf diets but others use just because doglets love them... they are one of the preferred parts of the chicken due to fat/bone/protein ratio...  highly recommend it is our boys favourite meal (sometimes too much of a favourite)

I am giving them because the new poopie is already on a natural raw diet (and I have promised to do my best to keep it that way) and I would like Kali to be on the same thing

Well, we got through the night and the chicken wing didn't make an appearance so I think we are safe :005:  I shall add them to Kali's ever increasing menu!  I am going down to see Mum and collect Lyla so I can't do a changeover just yet.  How many wings a week do you think while we are still using kibble?
