I think I am going to burst with it all!! Do you think I should just phone tomorrow and ask??? I don't want to hack them off  :-\

If it was me I'd ask, definately.

Am sure they won't mind  :D

LOL!  :005: The sires owner is on here but not seen her live for quite a while. She was tremendous support in finding a pup  :luv:
I think you've all given me the encouragement to give them a call - I'll blame all of you if they're get annoyed at me  :005: 'But my friends told me to do it sir!'  :005:

I'm sure that a caring breeder won't mind at all if you call; they will understand your excitement and concern and be reassured that you are fully committed to the puppy  ;)

Once the pups are born, they might be too busy to talk much for a while - so catching up now is probably the best approach  ;)

That's a good point - think I will take that tact when phoning. Thanks Cob-Web  :luv:

Wow a fortnight! That is restraint! When Bella was expecting our litter of pups I was getting phone calls from all of the potential new puppy owners day and night at all hours, from a few weeks after mating right up until the birth and beyond.... I didn't mind a bit as I was also very excited about the arrival of the pups and it was great to know that all of the puppy owners were so keen and committed to the pups and Bella.

So do give them a ring, ask how the bitch is doing health wise etc.. etc.. and just tell them how excited you are etc...
It'll be reassuring for them to know that you're still 100% sure you want a pup from them and are sticking to this particular litter, even though the vet scan has thrown doubt over the possibility of pups.

Good luck, fingers crossed for all concerned  :-*

I can't believe it, I phoned the breeder and they told me she is not expecting. When were they going to tell me??? I am sobbing my heart out I am so disappointed (stupid I know) but I've been building up to this for so long.
To top it off I then phoned about the rescue dog we had set our hearts on if this didn't happen and he was homed yesterday.
I feel like my heart it breaking...and feel so ridiculous for feeling this way but life for me has been cra@p for the last couple of years and this was so longed for.

Oh you poor thing. We all knew how much you were looking forward to good news. That is pants!!

Just think, it is meant to be, and probably the perfect pup is waiting for you elsewhere.

Fingers crossed x
