5 Dogs stolen from Leigh Tonbridge Kent. Update; Reunited

Dog 1 black cocker spaniel bitch 6 months old with white front
Dog 2 black cocker spaniel bitch 9 months old
Dog 3 liver and white springer spaniel bitch 8 months old
Dog 4 black and white springer spaniel dog 8 months old (herby)
Dog 5 black and white springer spaniel dog 2.5 years old (twig)

Please look out for them maybe dumped somewhere, or being sold on...thanks :'(

Here's some more info on this unfortunate incident  :'( If

Theft of vehicle and 5 working dogs

Last Friday night Chris Burns, who is our Chief Beater for the Stonewall Park Shoot near Penshurst, had his Landrover stolen from outside his house in Leigh, Tonbridge area, including 5 dogs.

The vehicle is a Landrover Defender Pickup .The vehicle is green with slight damage to the front nearside. It has a very distinctive Ifor Williams aluminium box on the back. The spare wheel has a cover with a springer spaniel on it. It is likely that identifying marks may have been removed by the thieves.

The dogs comprise : 2 Black cocker bitches,one with a white bib.
1 Black& white springer, 8 months old
1 Liver and white springer bitch,8 months old
1 Black & white springer dog , 30 m0nths old.

You may be offered these animals or see people out with them .If you do contact me by email or mobile on 07860 829 083, or for more info speak to Chris Burns on 07932 078 708 or emaii chris@breezeleafspaniels.co.uk . Or call the Police.

Awful.
The thieves presumably wanted the Landrover, so I hope the dogs were released . I expect the vehicle is in Eastern Europe by now, as that is the favoured destination for stolen tractors and diggers.
Hope they are found soon.

I doubt it was for the Landrover. These dogs are pretty well known. Chris Burns has featured in shooting magazines and many people I know follow his training videos avidly (including my OH). Since the dogs are all pretty distinctive, it is unlikely that they are going to show up on a shoot where they will be recognized.  So that just leaves breeding ......  The thought that these wonderful dogs used to a life of decency, kindness and freedom might end up on the production line just fills me with horror.  I know how this owner must feel. We have spent over a year fruitlessly searching for a similarly wonderful working springer stolen from Kirkby Stephen.  The possibility that she was stolen to order will not go away. Keep looking people.

AnnieG..... That is too dreadful to contemplate....but puppies will be distinguishable though.... so we will need to look in the free adds regularly! :'(

Its a gorgeous springer bitch called Pip  :'( She's featured on dog lost under CA17 postcode, stolen last year from a secure walled garden that's tucked away along a private drive in the middle of Kirkby Stephen. Clearly someone knew where she was and was determined enough to break in to steal her  :-\  She looks very distinctive with quite a snipey muzzle.

Please look out for her!!  :-*
