Jarvis has about 200g of orijen a day, costing around £4.70 a week. :D Lucy i'm not sure, as i've never weighed her meals, but she eats about a 1/3rd of what Jarvis does :luv: :005:

....I thought Orijen was about £46 per 15kg sack?

which makes your calculation probably right  ::)

I've just worked it out as well (without a calculator). It's too late for these complicated mathematical matters, my head hurts - off to have more cider :005: :005:

:lol2: you had me questioning my maths for a bit there Helen :005: The bags are 13.5kg though.

Working it out a little while ago with dad, I think we came to £2.50 a week. Marlee is on Skinners.
Bailey (Lhasa X) in on Burns ("High oats" for weight loss) and I think it prob costs a little less than Marlee.

Dad and I were very suprised how little it costs us! Trouble is, it's not cheap at the time, when buying. I mean, when I have to pay about £20 X2 (two bags of kibble) at the time, hehe. I'm thinking "£40!! OMG!" But then I think about what it costs me weakly and I calm myself, lol.

That's not including treats (and toys), but I do shop at Poundland a lot for the boys. They love it when I come back from town. Wondering if I have anything for them this time, lol.

Hi Penny
I knew you fed Dr John to your dogs bacause of a previous post - could you tell me how much you feed them please?
As I said in my post on page 1 - a 15kg bag last my 2 nearly 3 months, whereas your 15kg bag only last 1 month - am I feeding them too little?
There is no guidelines on the Gilpa website either!
Thanks
x

Roughly I would say about £4-5 per week each including treats and stuff.

Not as much as it costs to feed my weims... to be honest I have no idea I've never worked it out but mine are fed on a mixed commercial and raw diet so if I get chicken from one of the supermarkets for one of their meals it can be pretty expensive at £5 a shot but I do have three large breeds two of which are puppies so on a larger diet than an adult one adult weim and my cocker who gets only a % of what the others do.  Buying in bulk really does help to reduce the costs though and Arden Grange is only up the road so I usually buy direct from them and pick it up myself so I don't get the extra fee that the shops charge on top.

I must spend at least £30 -40 a month on meats i.e chicken breasts, minced beef, salmon steaks, pork ribs, chicken wings then AG on top. He totally refuses to eat sardines now, hence the salmon being introduced.  ::)

Ben costs about £8 a week (including his nightly treat ), maybe a little more if you add in the cheese I sometimes have to bribe him with
