Well the vet gave Mali a thorough check and concluded that she has an inflamed colon. Other than that she is looking to be back on track, her temperature was normal and her chest is clear. He said that family are often not the best people to look after our pets because they spoil them so much and with Mali being the moo that she is, she knows that if she doesn't eat her meal, they will stuff her full of yummy stuff  >:(

She has got some anti-inflamitories to take and the vet is confident that she will be back to normal in a couple of days.

Glad its nothing too serious  :-*. Give your brother the vets bill and perhaps he won't do it next time  ;) :005:.

she's gone downhill again and is going back to the vet in a mo. She is not eating or drinking, is very lethargic and disinterested in everything - even the birds who dare to fly over HER garden. I called the vet earlier and he wants to see her again. She doesn't want to sleep in my room, she decided to spend the night on the sofa last night  :'(

thanks.

I got her back from the vet at 6-30. She had some blood tests and had to be kept in to go on a drip as she was badly dehydrated from her tummy bug. With a bit of luck she should be back on track now. Thank you for the good wishes

Mali is 110% back to normal today! She is being a little madame  :D

It's so nice when they get back to normal after looking so poorly.

She says "thank you" for the cocker licks and feels she could get used to having them  :005:
