There is one consulation - his sore mouth will put him off picking at the stitches  ;)

To be honest he's been fine and loved his fish and rice supper (well when he eventually got it as Ed the cat thought the fish ice lolly I'd left on the kitchen counter was scrumpious LOL).

The longacting painkiller my vet gives seems to do the trick so they get over the worst of the pain
