Cardiomyopathy

My friends girl has been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, she is 5 1/2 years old.  How common is it in cockers?  she has been told that it's not a very good outcome either     she is absolutely heartbroken

I friend of mine have just translate for my website the information about DCM in English. But I haven't got the time to put it on.

I have now 1 advise for your friend. She must give the dog 3 gr carnithine and 1 gr taurine each day.  The affected dogs have a short of taurine. But the taurine needs a transport to come to the heart, that is why the carnithine is needed.
