Hi, I want to change my avatar but i have tried loads of times and it won't display a pic, I am using the same file I always use and have changed it without any problems before :huh: Please help I feel naked without an avatar :005: Thanks Jo

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago - it was that the file was too large.  >:( Even trying to upload a pic I had used before wouldn't work - not sure if the site has somehow reduced the size of avatar pics it will accept  :huh:  Anyway, I solved it my e-mailing some pics to myself on Picasa which automatically reduces the file size - then saved them in a file called Avatar pics.  ;)  Posted one of those and it worked fine - simples  :D

All sorted now - I resized it. I think the problem was the filesize - the forum software will resize for you but there are limits to what it can handle. Avatars are approx 80x80 pixels, your photo was 3648 x 2736.  :lol2:
