There were no posts other than the ones about him going missing! He was rehomed but it didn't work out as he was too clingy. No different to most cockers so doesn't bother me, I'm used to having shadows.

Lancelot it curled up between us in bed....  Won't be staying there all night tho!

Oh, I have a black cocker curled up next to me (probably keeping an eye on the curtains for signs of daylight). A photo of Sir L with his new family would be lovely, hint hint. The way I look at it, Sir L is making up for all the time he didn't have a human to keep a close eye on. You are very lucky that you are that human!

Your post put a tear in my eye Jo, and I am delighted to be acknowledged with helping Lance, as I have been feeling very poorly recently, but this has given me a boost. :D

I am very pleased that he is staying with you, you are perfect for him, and I know he will be very happy with the other dogs for company. It's all worked out really well in the end - I have my lovely quiet Tia to counteract Duggie's madness, and you have your lovely lively new working Cocker! :luv: :luv: :luv:

Absolutely wonderful to read this. Wonderful ending for this lovely boy. He is very lucky and it is so good to know that he is in safe, loving hands once more :luv:

I had to smile when I read the comments on clinginess and feel sad that someone would not recognise or appreciate that as a beautiful cocker trait. Blodwen follows me EVERYWHERE, she very rarely lets me out of sight. It makes me feel adored by her and it makes me feel all squidgy inside (although she's probably just waiting for treats the whole time!)
