Feeding On Nutro?
« on: October 14, 2004, 08:33:44 PM »
Hi

I wonder if any others are feeding their cockers on Nutro?
I used to feed mine on Nutro and was very happy with it, but four years ago they stop selling Nutro in Norway, so I start to feed them on Purina Pro Plan, and then the last year I have used Hills.  But I have never been 100% happy with neither of them, so when I was told a few weeks ago that Nutro was back in Norway, I was very happy, and went to buy some bags (lamb & rice).  I have only used it for 1 week, so I guess it is too early to say how happy I will be this time <_<
But from what I remember my dogs used to have better coats before (when they was on Nutro) then they have now, but it could be my memory getting bad
So I wonder what you, that have cockers with wonderful coats feed your dogs?  And please don't say that it is all in the dogs gene  :D

I feed both of mine Nutro, Bailey has Nutro puppy, and Blue the adult, and both are doing really well on it with lovely healthy glossy coats ;)  :D

Molo has been on Nutro since he was weaned, I believe, this is certainly the food the breeder gave us when we picked him up and we've never had reason to change :D

He was on the Puppy Lamb and Rice, but since his teeth began to give him pain, I've changed to the Puppy Mini, and other than a few 'fussy' days, hes been fine on it.

Cetainly his coat is thick and he's growing at a fast rate

We used feeding Nutro Lamb and Rice. but It's temporarily prohibited from importing. so we're feeding Natural Balance made in the U.S.A.

could you give me more information about Burns?

Another happy Nutro user.
My Lab has the senior variety and Lottie is on the puppy one.
Both have very shiny, healthy coats.

Hi

Thanks for all your reply re. feeding on Nutro
Burns sounds very good, but from what I see, they don't sell it in Norway, yet.
So I will try Nutro for a couple of months, and hopefully they all have lovely shining coat for next years show season :D

Nina - I've used Nutro since Jasper was a puppy getting him off of Iams which had him up the walls! It suits both boys well.
