So I take it I just have to go in and change the setting to GMT -1 or something. Off to give it a go

I'm not sure Gill, your posts already seem to display the correct time.
They may not when logged out, but when logged in they appear to.

You may be able to just click the Daylight Saving check box.
In My Controls, Board Settings.

Nope Stuart, I've had board settings at GTM+1 since the spring.  I did check my board settings on Friday night but they were correct.  The times on the posts were showing an hour ahead of what it actually was (so actually GMT+2)      If it had reset itself surely it would have gone to GMT which would have shown an hour behind what it should have been.  Must just have been a gremlin as it was showing up fine on Saturday and still is, as far as I can tell     .

Don't bother with the dark room Gill - the times really were wrong the other day

Did you try setting it to GMT (+0) then ticking the Daylight saving time box?
Thats what mine is set at and it seems to do the trick.

It's all to do with the server time being an hour out. They work on UTC which is an hour behind GMT, its something that not changeable unfortunately.

But the Daylight saving setting 'should' correct it when your logged in.

Thanks, Stuart   .  The time has been fine since Saturday but I've changed it to dylight saving just to avoid the same thing happening again.  Now all I have to do is remember to change it when the clocks change       I'll probably be back here whinging again next weekend!!
