I've shown Iddy to my OH and he had tears in his eyes. So I'm going to phone about her tomorrow.

One thing you shouldn't do is feel sorry for dogs like these (well I always say that to people re Roobs) - may sound harsh but they really need to find their way and sometimes they will bump and maybe hurt themselves (not seriously but enough to yelp). Mollycoddling them can have a negative impact. Obviously you use commonsense though and don't put them in danger (mind you if you've ever seen Roobs go scrambling down a 6ft bank of rocks you'd think I was being irresponsible but she finds her way herself really well - scared the hell out of me the 1st time she did it, but I couldn't get to her in time, by which time she was safely at the bottom and heading for a swim).

Thanks, I've been planning on getting a second dog, I was going to wait until the summer - but something about Iddy just clicked.   
I'm hoping our garden doesn't go against us - it's very large and very secure, but it's a wildlife garden with steps, loads of old trees, slopes, bankings etc.

you'd have to ensure you were with any pup while they were outside anyway ;)

I submitted the adoption form last night - they will be in touch within 24 hours. :D
