Sore Paws
« on: April 02, 2010, 01:09:48 PM »
We have just come back from a week in Suffolk and the boys have sore pads on their paws.

They seemed to come after we spent a few hours on a pebble beach 2 days in a row, they were running, walking, chasing balls and in and out of the sea.

Baja's are worse than Mole's, on his back paws there are white/pink parts to his pads rather than being black, he must have been licking them over night. We have bandaged them up to try and dry them out, if they are left open he just wants to keep licking them.

Is there anything I should be putting on them, or just letting them dry out

you could always try a bucket on their heads as am sure its usually best to keep them aired really

I think I have one in the garage, so could try that. He currently has a sock bandgaged round each back foot, so I could switch it for the cone head look instead  :005:
