Hi All - not been on for a while. I have  homed a 4 1/2 yrs old blue roan - ex show cocker - what a gorgeous boy. The problem....... he hates cats..... I mean he really hates cats. As soon as he sees one this gutter voice ......more like a battle cry and he starts tearing at the ground to get at it (just as well he is on his lead).  I have tried everything i can think of ...... short lead, liver treats, talking to him... but the shutters are down... he doesn't respond to voice commands or trying to avert his attention.

We go to training classes - which he loves but everything goes out the window if a cat is on the horizon.

Any thoughts or is this a hard nut to crack.
