I am absolutely disgusted, all the months that so many of us in the area were out searching for poppy (and even until today I have still always looked out for her).
Words can not describe how angry and upset I am feeling. These people are scum. I just hope that Jo and her family are able to find some peace now.

it is beyond disgusting what these people have done. Accidents do happen and they should have took responsibility for it. As the dog owner you would have been devastated but atleast you would have known the truth. To live everyday wondering where your baby is  must be torture.

Even old nick >:D would spit them back
Run free and fly high my beautiful Gemma

How can anybody be as despicable and dishonest as that kennel owner? I feel so sorry for Poppy's owners :'( :'(

I really hope that this story makes the press and that the local authority, or some sort of formal body, investigates what happened and penalises the kennel owner.

No, how could they have done this.  I have thought and thought about this little dog since I first read about her on here.  How cruel, the poor owners, at times they had such hope.  I feel so sad for them.

Despicable behaviour by the kennel owners...have read they went bankrupt/bust a while ago and was maybe due to the bad publicity around this incident...I hope this is the case as it shows dishonesty does not pay.

I'll close this thread now, but the Dog Lost page is still active, although a bit quieter, so if anyone wants to check to see if any action is taken by Poppy's owner, or if there's any publicity/media interest, please click on the link on page 1 of this thread.

RIP Poppy :'(
