cocker ice lollies
« on: March 26, 2012, 02:13:16 PM »
Hi all,

Got a top tip for you  :D  As the weather is blooming marvelous at the moment I've made some cocker ice lollies.  If you fry/griddle some steak, pork, chicken or other meaty hooman food, then to the dirty pan add water and using a wooden spoon get up all the little meaty bits, it makes a kind of stock. Pour stock into ice lolly moulds or little dishes and freeze.  It makes great cocker ice lollies and my two love them, keeps them nice and cool too  ;)

Don't give these after exercise though,  aparently cooling them down too quickly can be harmful  :-\

I've made them before when we've been lazing about the house and they love them!

Ollie said thanks for the tip.......................but, I'd rather have a magnum....... :005: :005:

Joking apart, he drools when I eat a magnum............but poor boy can't join in cause it would be bad for him.

Gonna try your lollies..............and I'm sure he will be more than happy.  What a great idea. xx

Coco loves lollies - I make them with water frozen in a plastic cup with some bits of kibble, cheese and carrot in  ;)

Cut a water bottle in half long ways (evian type) and put some water in the "boats". Freeze.

Toby loves them !!
