Sometimes people do make the mistake of calling blue & tans "tricolours" - when we get puppy enquiries for tris, I always have to check what colour they are actually looking for as true tricolours are indeed pretty rare (blue roan & tans are not that common but not as rare as tricolours)

Thanks jane for sorting that out!.I was pretty sure he was a blue roan and tan but the ladies comment threw me!.
I love him anyway~he could be pink and blue for all i care!!!
