Just a quick post to introduce both myself (Gareth) my wife (Lynda) and the latest addition to our family Ollie.  Ollie is an 8 week old blue roan and is absoulutly full of beans so to say..... :)

This is our first puppy together and no doubt I will be looking for as much help and advice from you guys over the coming weeks and months.

I have also got to add that while researching the option of going for a dog it was only after reading the post on here for potential puppy owners that actually made us decide to make the plunge and join in on the craze.

It is such a pleasure to read articles by genuine dog lovers who clearly have the passion for cocker spaniels.


Anyways.....I look forward to any correspondence from you guys on here.

wow guys what a quick bunch of typers you guys all seem to be.  I have obviously taken millons of photos of ollie since his arrival and I will get them into my online photo album soon. (prob tonight)  
Ollie hasn't quite figured how to smile for the camera yet though.... :)

Matter of interest is there any online album system within COL that I can save photos to?

How do I set up an Aviator?

We too are the proud parents of a blue roan (Scooby) who's 7 months - believe me, this site is invaluable and everyone on here are lovely, you'll be addicted before the week's out  :)

You can just download your pics staight into the gallery, as regards your avatar, go into "my controls" then "edit avatar settings" and select from there - you have to download the pic first.

Hope you manage it - not very good at explaining  :rolleyes:

Couldn't have put it better myself! Welcome to the forum :D

You can use www.photobucket.com to save photos freely onto your own personal online album Gareth - also to set up your own avatar, go into your profile, select Avatar options, and then you can browse from there to the file (avatar picture) either on your pc or at a specified web location :)
