I have been feeding Sash on a light formula kibble diet to help keep her weight off. She is looking good now and at her ideal weight. She is a greedy dog and whilst I know this is probably not so filling she does seem to have been more satisfied as she is geeting what looks like bigger portions. I did try and cut down her ordinary food before going onto light but it was finished really quickly and she was always trying to find her way into the food bag whining and crying. She doesn't do that any more now her portions are bigger.
What I would like to know is - is it ok to keep her on a light diet long term. She is healthy and more active, probably due to the weight loss. She is 3 years old and a working strain cocker.
