Existing conditions

Anyone know of insurance companies that will cover/deal with existing conditions?

In a word no really. Occasionally some may do an amnesty to try and attract new custom - well petplan did several years ago but I haven't seen anything like that since.

I can see why they don't though

Some may allow something if a pet hasn't had an occurrence for 'x' number of years - its worth asking if some may do this

I have known people get a letter from their vet that states the "condition" is now cured. The insurance company has then accepted the risk. This has been for things like tummy upsets and one off lameness.
