Thank you all so much, COL is a wonderful support, it kinda doesn’t feel right to stay on when I haven’t got a cocker, but not sure I can let go just yet. Cyber hugs to everyone

No need to leave if you aren't ready to. You don't need to have a cocker to be a member here:you just need to understand that they are the best breed in the world.  :luv: :005:

Take care of yourselves  :-*

We had no dogs of any kind for quite some time after losing ours suddenly. I found that visiting COL was a nice thing to do. I hope you feel that you can stay around. X

Heartbreaking....I lost mine at a similar age, I felt we d been cheated out of four more years. Couldn't look at a cocker or Col for a year.  I came back because it's such a lovely group, and eventually found the urge to cuddle a strangers' chocolate cocker on Mam Tor, the owners were so understanding. That was so healing.
RIP Marti  the EPI springer age 12,  and beloved black cocker Bobby, 8 yrs old, too soon, from PLN.
Now owned by TInker, tiny hairy grey poodle/terrier rescue from Greece and Jack, local rescue,   scruffy ginger terrier mutt.
