Good luck - I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine! I did some summer work at a kennels years ago and loved it although was a bit scared to start with.  It was nice meeting lots of different dogs though and getting to know them all a bit.

There was a cattery there as well (I remember hours of opening tins of Kitekat and they used to play this awful piped organ music to them to keep them all calm - it kept the cats calm but drove me nuts!   ).

thanks everybody for all ur surport an good luck wishes when i leave school id love to work with animals as i have been brought up with animals all my life.
penny did say tht there might b a job for me if we get on with each other an if i work hard which i will do  
i have to b there for 8 say i have to leave at 7 15 and i have to get up at 6 00

I used to wear just old tracky bottoms a t shirt and a jumper ...just something u feel comfortable in and don't mind getting messed up. Trust me they soon get bleach and trigene marks on very quickly !  
I have a uniform now tho...a red t shirt and red jumper with the kennel logo on and I just wear tracky bottoms   - they are easy to work it and in summer they don't stick to ya .  
I'm lucky ...I don't have to be there til 9.30 usually leave the house bout 8.15 .
Oh...n ya can't 4get the wellies !

hello well its my 2nd day of work x an its going great   an theres loads of lovely cockers there so i get lots of sloppy kisses.

ive held clean the kennels out
washed up
walked the dog
took loads up on to the field
feed them
groomed her dogs   an cooper glow
an loads more stuff

an i am realy enjoying it  

an today an yesterday i meet her gang theres al soo lovely
