30-05-2015 Izzy a 6 year old ex-breeding Cocker Spaniel girl. It seems that Izzy is blind in both eyes and will be seeing our vet to see if anything can be done but we think this is permanent. Understandably Izzy is very nervous and will need to have a friendly, kind and gentle dog or dogs in the home to help her not to be afraid. It is very rewarding to adopt an blind dog and not as hard as many would think. Please don't let her blindness put you off.
3-6-15 Izzy has seen our vet about her eyes this week. Her right eye is much smaller than her left and there only appears to be limited sight in her left. Despite her blind right eye and limited left vision she will manage well in a new home with another dog to copy. Please don't let this put you off sweet little Izzy, she really deserves a loving home as her life as been so hard already.
