26-08-17 Lottie is a 4 yr old cocker spaniel who has been returned to us. She had been rehomed alongside her sister but became very defensive of her towards other dogs so her new owners made the heartbreaking decision to return her. Deciding to let Lottie move on was very difficult for them and they say Lottie has been great with people and loves to have cuddles. She also travels well and is almost housetrained. Lottie will be really lovely as an only dog or where any other dog in the family is a bigger male as she will be able to fully relax then and be able to shine.
08-09-17 UPDATE
Lottie is such a character, she has the nature to die for! She is very placid and calm once she has had the exercise that she needs. Lottie is very food orientated and she will do anything for a treat. Lottie loves nothing more than to sit on your lap and have a big bear hug!. We are looking for a home where she can be an only dog with owners who are experienced as she has had problems with little dogs in the passed. When Lottie is out walking she will bark at other dogs, but with light correction she is good and meets them nice. She know's the simple commands like sit, paw and lay down. Lottie will need a cat free home as she would chase cats when they are on the go. We are told she travels perfect in the car so she could possibly go to work with her new owners as long as no little dogs go. Lottie is very sweet and she loves nothing more than to sit on your knee and have kisses and cuddles. She will make a perfect little dog for anyone who is looking for a project. She walks nicely on a lead and will sit when cars are passing. She has met our horses here and at first she will bark but after standing there for a bit and showing her they mean no harm she will settle down and go in for a sniff. Lottie loves long walks, she loves walking through long grass and following her nose like a little beagle. If Lottie is homed with any dogs it must be with a larger male as we don't want her or any other dogs to get hurt. Lottie is a total heart break, she sits in the front of her kennel waiting for her special family to come. If you think you have a place in your heart for Lottie then please apply.
