Four Paws Animal Rescue (South Wales): Meet Eddie cocker - 8 year old blue roan

He loves people and dogs and think the cats are a great game at the moment. As Eddie has only just arrived we need to asses him further. I believe he came from a family who could no longer keep him but he's a much loved dog. He's 8 years old, neutered & I will start his vaccinations this week. Eddie might need to lose a tiny bit of weight and I will get him groomed soon as he's a bit of a woolly bear.

He walks well on the lead & I had him offlead on the way home and he was fine (bribery helps)

He would live better without cats

I would suggest older children

He's currently being fostered in Cardiff with me.

Anyone who adopts him will have complete a form, and if suitable for him then a homecheck and then come to meet him.

Eddie is gobby & talkative with toys the usual sounds of rarr rarrs and he loves toys

Overall though he's a lovely boy and still very active and loves to play; however, he won't give the toys up though as he just clamps his jaws firmly round them like cement so needs persuading to swap or other training and he's not that brilliant with my cats - may well be he was fine with cats in previous home, it happens.
