We too have put in an application for her.

Chances are she will go to a very happy home - whichever one that may be.

What a beautiful little girl she is :luv:

We spoke to Many Tears today, but unfortunately because we are going on holiday soon we cannot have her. It would be too unsettling for the little girl.

So Cindere we wish you the very, very best of luck.

Let us know if you are successful in adopting this beautiful little girl.

I had a conversation with Many Tears on Tuesday and I was left to think things over and get back to them. I have since been trying as often as I can to get through but the lines are permanently engaged.

I honestly don't know what to do about this dog, she is very pretty and I would love to have her  :luv:.

BUT, and this is a very bit BUT, there is now another cocker bitch on there, called Lemur, who needs what I can offer, ie a very quiet home, lots of peace. Quiet slow walks to get her used to her lead. Only me in the house, so no-one coming and going all the time. I'm retired, so I'm at home all the time.

I really don't know what to do, and not being able to speak to anyone at Many Tears is making it even more difficult to decide.  The phone lines are now closed again until 10am tomorrow, so nothing can be done tonight  :-\

Oh what a dilemma  :-\ I'm guessing that Kelis will probably find a new home easier than Lemur because of Lemur being older and having more specific needs - she looks so sad and it would be lovely to see you work your magic with her and turn her life around, would the lovely Pansy accept either aged girl?  I hope you manage to speak to Many Tears today  :-*

I was in a similar dilemma - the kids and I have decided that tis time to get another dog as a friend for Purdey, but we would rather have something smaller than cocker sized this time, so the kids can walk it etc. Many Tears has so many little terriers etc on its books and we really loved the idea of a puppy so we rang them this week with a shortlist of favourites and let THEM tell us which puppy they thought would be most suitable for us.

We got a phone call back from the foster mum of gorgeous Benny (6 week old Norfolk Terrier cross) who thought we sounded perfect because we have another dog and I work from home so the pup will have someone around all day, so fingers crossed if all goes well, we will be collecting him in a couple of weeks.  :luv: :luv: :luv:

Anyway, getting back on thread, it might be worth asking what MT think - they might have had more applications for Lemur than you think, or they might not have had any - Im sure whatever dog you end up with, you will be very happy and you will make an enormous difference to their lives.  :luv: :luv: Good luck!

I've spoken to MT.

Much as I would have loved Kelis, she is soooooo pretty, I'm sure she will get loads of offers of homes.

For an update, please see my reply on Lemur's thread  :D
