We bought a 'Hatchbag' for our VW Polo and yes, it was expensive, but it is a really excellent quality product, and I suppose the price is due to fitting the car exactly, a bespoke fit really. We never have our back seats up so the dogs have plenty of space and to have the 'full monty' of liner, special padded mat, boot lip protector and cover over to the back of the front seats cost us about £170, this included 24hr courier delivery . I really don't see that we would have to replace it in the cars lifetime, maybe change the vetbed we put on top (this is purely our choice as the padded boot cover is fully washable and odour neutralising and offers enough comfort for most dogs, we are just ultra fussy and always have to go over the top with our treasured girls.) but it is sooooo well made and very easy to clean.
