Benji is a 15 month old English Cocker Spaniel who is looking for a home. He has had 5 homes in his life and he lost them due to his recall, which is not very good! Benji was born in Liverpool and has slowly worked his way down to Surrey. His breeder refused to take him back. He has got a lovely nature and loves people, especially children. He is quite shy round other dogs, but does get along with calmer dogs or those that tend to ignore him, he is quite scared of dogs who harass him! Benji will need to be walked on lead as he will run off if allowed free run and he does have a strong prey drive. He cannot live with cats. He would suit someone who is into hiking or as a jogging partner as he does love his exercise. He makes an excellent house dog and is not destructive. He is very well behaved when at home.
