2 cockers at Battersea Dogs Home, Old Windsor
« on: June 05, 2007, 07:12:24 PM »
It broke my heart, but I did particularly notice two show strain cockers looking for homes, so I asked the staff if it would be OK to mention them here  ;)

They are not on the Battersea website......but there is a solid black female who seems to have lost one eye  :'(, she is about 5-7 years old (but looks a lot older, bless her), and may be able to be rehomed with other dogs.

There is a solid liver male of about the same age or a little younger - he has had limited training and needs an experienced home  :-\

Neither can be rehomed with young children  :'(

Sorry I've not got more details; I was a bit overwhelmed tbh (they have 100  kennels  :'(), but I am sure that the centre would give you more details if you phoned before visiting:

So sad, I wish I could help (having had a rescue before) but Ozzy's too young.  :'(
