Nana is a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel

Nana is a very affectionate young lady who came to foal because her owners were moving. Unfortunately Nana has problems with her eyesight so can become a little stressed as it is difficult for her to see what's going on. For this reason Nana would do best in a calm home with another dog friendly dog.

Oh she's gorgeous!  :luv:  I'm wondering if now is the wrong time to introduce another dog. Griffin is a little  but he's only 6 months. We do want to add to our family but were thinking it would be when Griffin is about 18 months. Would we be unwise to consider Nana whilst Griffin is at this age?  If so, I hope someone falls for her and gives he r a happy ever after  :luv:

I've emailed Foal Farm today offering to foster this girl until a forever home comes along as she has been up for homing before and either been taken back or it didn't happen.  I think she'd be better off in a foster home rather than kennels with her eyesight but we shall see if they respond

They are only 5mins from me.  OH says we can foster but not adopt another.

I hope you can do that Louise, would be so much nicer than a kennel environment for her - my fingers are crossed that if you do that she forces your OH to fall in love with her :luv: :luv: :luv:

She looks lovely.  I hope you can foster her Louise.  You never know your OH might change his mind as well!

If you had a pet with special needs wouldn't you bust a gut to keep her and make sure her life was a happy one?

Sorry, perhaps I shouldn't judge, but it seems very harsh to me.

She looks so beautiful. I do hope she will find her forever home soon.

Not sure if you saw my reply or not  ph34r  I am wondering if Griffin is too young to introduce another dog yet? We were thinking about getting another pup or a rescue if one comes up. But is Grifin too young yet?  I don't want to send an email and waste their time if Griffin wouldn't be right for her and she for him.

It's your decision but personally I'd say he is a bit too young. Plus if her eye sight problems are causing her to be stressed a young pup darting around maybe too much for her  :-\

She is gorgeous, that picture is scary as she is the absolute spit of Billy  :o
Wonder what her KC pedigree is?  The similarity is amassing!

Thanks Jan.  I thought as much which I guess is why I asked rather than just emailed. She's so gorgeous I just fell for her. When OH came home I showed him and he is in love too. Griffin is pretty calm for a puppy, but he IS still a puppy so can have his moments. We don't have kids and I'm home all day and am planning to work from home once uni is finsihed so would have loved to have her. But Griff is number one priority at the moment and any dog w take has to be right for him, and he has to be right for her too.  I just hope a good home is found for her.
