Description Meet Sonny Jim, an extremely handsome 9 year old ex-working cocker spaniel. He was brought into the Burford centre as his owners were emigrating and unfortunately couldn't take him with them. Sonny Jim is a typical cocker spaniel and often has his nose to the ground whilst out on walks! Through clicker training done here at the centre he is now learning to focus more on his handler and we have found out that he will do anything for a piece of cheese. Sonny Jim is an extremely affectionate and tactile dog who has endless amounts of energy, and for this reason we are looking for an active family to take him on who understand his needs as an ex worker. He adores chasing balls but does not always retrieve them, and will walk for as long as you do! Sonny Jim has had basic training and travels extremely well in the car, he is also fully house trained. Overall this fantastic little dog will make a great addition to to any family who are willing to take the time to help him settle into his new home. He would make an ideal family dog with children who are confident around excitable canines, as he can be quite bouncy upon greeting people! Sonny Jim can not live with cats due to his working roots.
