West Wales Poundies
« on: January 26, 2024, 07:03:44 PM »
I’ve just seen this news item online. On Jan 19th, 22 cockers aged between 8 weeks and 14 years were rescued from a home, some with health issues . They look like show type. Some lived indoors, some out in kennels.
The story is on West Wales Poundies website. So many other sweet dogs there as well.
RIP Marti  the EPI springer age 12,  and beloved black cocker Bobby, 8 yrs old, too soon, from PLN.
Now owned by TInker, tiny hairy grey poodle/terrier rescue from Greece and Jack, local rescue,   scruffy ginger terrier mutt.

Links for the story posted by Phoenix.  The poor souls are in a terrible state, and this is a small rescue.  I hope the publicity they are getting helps to pay the vet bills, as this will not be cheap. The dogs are settling in well.

The Cocker Spaniel Club has covered a lot of the vet bills as have other donations from various sources. These cockers deserve our support.
