has anyone else's cockers experience home sickness ?
i'm calling it home sickness as one of my girls started weeing in doors while on holiday in our own static caravan, even when the door was open.
Since they were little we have been taking them to the caravan for up to a week at a time, this time they stayed nearly three weeks . i had to return to work for three days, leaving them there with my mom who looks after them while i'm at work ,usually at her house. When i went back she began weeing in doors, i thought it was excitement due to my return,not!! but she continued for three days,i did consider separation anxiety ,even if a little delayed. i thought possible infection as they has been swimming in the sea and rolling about in sea weed...so i ended the holiday and booked her into the vets. armed with my skillfully collected water sample i took her to the vet ..who could not find anything wrong in her sample or temperature. since we have been home she has been ok , no more accidents in doors. ..Diagnosis....home sickness!!
