season or sore botty? ?
« on: February 05, 2009, 09:21:54 PM »
Ruby has been out of sorts today, she had loose poo last nite, and liquid poos all through today.
I thought it was because she had a small piece of paddywack two nights running.
I gave her 2 scrambled eggs, but it hasnt firmed her up.

She was just sat on the kitchen floor and when she got up there was two fresh red blood spots,I first thought it must be her first season as she was 1yr old last sunday, but now im wondering could she be bleeding from her bottom,i have tried to wipe both areas iyswim, but there is no more blood at the moment  .Her lady bits possibly look swollen, but im not sure  :-\

I have noticed she has seemed a bit more sleepy for the last few nights, also i dont know if its something shes eaten that i dont know about  :-\
ooh,dont they make you worry

Has she been scooting or straining at all, could she have 'damaged' the area? Have you noticed any blood in the poop?
This is gross but is there any blood or wet around her girl bits at all?

There wasnt any blood in any of the poos today  ;)

Yes sorry I didn't reply, I was trying to get at 'deffo eliminate other sources first' because i'd panic over blood in poo  ::)  :005:
Gizzy has just started her first season too  :D

Glad she's feeling on better form
