Minstrel has a smelly problem!!!!pheweeee

Minstrel who will be 13 this June :luv: :luv: :luv: Has a smelly bottom :o :o It is what we have over the years called" fish market day" :o :005: :005: :005: Over the years on odd ocasions and around her seasons she would omit this awfull fishy smell from her behind  >:Dbut with a wash it would go :shades:well has she as got older fish market day appears most days, I love fish but you can only take so much :005: :005: I dont know if its because she is dribbling in her old age :luv: or what she never seems ill in any way with it and if I wash her it does go away  :shades: Just wondere if anyone had any clues as to why :huh:or how to stop it :huh:

Update.... Bailey died yesterday age 14 .. Minstrel 8yrs ago age 17
Merlin 10 yrs ago age 17
I have now Ellaween age 7 and Willow age 2 both working type cockers Ella black and Tan and Willow choc n Tan.

Sounds like anal glands to me.....a trip to the vets might be required!

fishy smell usual equals anal glands are full (plus need to make sure they don't get infected)

Absolutely agree that it is anal glands.  The smell is so distinctive.  I would take her to the vets as she must feel uncomfy.
