Arden grange, Eden or barking heads?

Im looking for a new food for my dog.  Hes 2 years old but we will be getting a puppy in august (fingers crossed) so a good food that would do both would be perfect.  What do you guys think of these 3 foods and in your opinion which is best?

Eden Holistic is suitable for puppies up to old age.  Both of mine - Henry, three, and Jamie, nineteen weeks - are fed this.

Eden here too, as Robbie says its suitable from weaning , brilliant food and riley is thriving on it.

We were told our new boy was on Orijen, been here nearly 3 weeks and will he touch it?  Not a chance, wasn't cheap either  >:(

I'm currently working our way through the various flavours of grain free Simpsons, trouble is Master Archie seems to love whichever I give him so I'm working on the basis of how it works through his body at the other end  :shades: :lol2:

I have been considering Eden but have been put off by claims the dog need to "detox" and thus may encounter soggy no. 2's for a few months....  Haven't tried the other two though.

Where did you get this from?  My two are on Eden and their stools are quite firm.  How do they "detox."

I have heard the "detox" too, this is when I spoke to them ages ago about the change over period. They put me off I'm afraid with that claim.

Dont be scared of that word detox, I dont actually like using the word myself as I see detox as something serious.
what eden mean is that the longer a dog has been on a poor diet/high grain food with fillers etc, then they "may" take a bit longer to settle down when going onto a much better quality grain and filler free food.

Certainly didnt put me off, Riley loves eden and his condition is fabulous on it.

I have no bother getting it online, I buy the 12kg fish one or 15kg multi meat and fish variety, they are delivered within 3 days. Never had a problem and like buying this size , lasts me anything from 2-3 months.
Its no different from the likes of orijen with its contents and ingredients

Our boy Fudge is on Eden and is thriving on it and more importantly he actually likes it.

If you do end up buying Eden go for the working dog packs (15kg x 2) and postage is free. It is also good fun watching the delivery bloke stagger down the drive with the bags followed by a salivating cocker :lol:

Than you all for the replies.  From the look of it ill be going with eden.  I read its meant to be very good so ill get
 a bag and gradually move him onto that.  When we get the puppy she will get moved on to it too.0
