Thank you for all of your good wishes.
The vet called us to bring him home as he was really distressed, we could hear him crying the minute we opened to door it was pretty pitiful. They would have kept him but didn't think it was worth the distress.
They said when they opened him all his intestines were blue and they thought the worst but they pulled them out and ran through them and couldn't see a problem and they returned to pink so they must have been twisted somewhere.
The big worry is he had a larger than golf ball sized lump on the end of his spleen. They think it had already been bleeding they said they would be really very suprised if it's nasty at his age but I've heard those words before so they aren't very comforting. And I can't tell you how much I hate the words "really unusual" when spoken my a medical person.
Poor little boy is so tired he keeps falling asleep standing up, he is on tramadol but it doesn't seem to be helping much every time he tries to lay down in any position he yelps and flies in the air.
I managed to get him rigged up with me on the floor and pillows and he slept for about half an hour. I've got his bed right next to mine now and he is sitting up but with his forehead leaning on the floor.
They said it will be Thursday afternoon at the earliest before we get the results.
It's going to be a very long wait.
The bill was seriously ..nup no word just serious.
